Vicki Liviakis :: Host Bio
 Vicki has traveled the globe, hosting on-location from Hollywood to Hong Kong. She’s interviewed rogues and royalty; a baby-seller; and the virgin bride of “Night Stalker.” Vicki’s dogged the Hell’s Angels and hung with LA’s notorious El Serrano girl street gang; she penetrated the Animal Liberation Front and profiled her gun-totting idol Hunter Thompson. She’s tackled such stories as terrorism in the Middle East to devastating floods in the American Midwest; and produced pieces ranging from the Olympic Truce in Athens to the opium trade in Afghanistan. A former news director, international correspondent, and TV host, she’s reported for NBC’s Real Life, CBS’s Day and Date, Fox’s Front Page, Paramount’s The West and PBS’s Nightly Business Report. Vicki also anchored the evening news in Los Angeles. In addition to Emmys, she continues to pick up journalistic awards including Best Investigative Reporting, Best Documentary, and Outstanding Contributions to Broadcasting. Her half-hour Travel Update program and Consumer Travel Reports were syndicated on over 100 TV stations in the U.S. as well as several other countries.
In her search for the heart of America, she jumped behind the wheel of an RV in the PBS travel program Experience America on public broadcast stations nationwide. Vicki now anchors and reports the news in San Francisco.
