Califormia Prisons Under Pressure is a series of thirty-minute documentaries examining the complex issues surrounding the state's prison system, from the outside in. Producers Bill George and Kristen Simoes, with Peppers.TV, explores the overcrowding issue, the controversy behind a Sentencing Commission, recidivism and rehabilitation, early release issues and how this will impact local law enforcement and communities. These programs are hosted by David Keith and Vicki Liviakis. Mr. Keith is an actor and advisory board member for the National Association to Protect Children. He has two Golden Globe nominations for his role in Officer and A Gentleman. Ms. Liviakis is an Emmy Award winning news journalist, and reporter/anchor for San Francisco's KRON TV. Vicki's broadcast journalism backround includes producing for PBS, Travel News Network and KCRA TV.
